Kathey Atwell received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Marywood College in 1986. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Certified Diplomate. She has worked in the mental health field for over thirty years. In addition she has supervised social work students in the clinical practicums.

Kathey’s areas of expertise include the treatment of depression and anxiety, grief and loss, women’s empowerment, gay/lesbian issues, and relationship and interpersonal difficulties. She works with adults, adolescents, seniors and couples. She utilizes a variety of treatment strategies with emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapy techniques.
